Eligibility for membership in the Association is open to persons of Ghanaian origin and other persons interested in the Association’s affairs. Any person subscribing to the Association’s goals and objectives shall be eligible for membership.

To become a member, you must register and pay the required fee indicated on the registration page. Once your registration is received, it will be reviewed, and an acceptance decision will be taken. Registration can be done on the AGO USA website: https://agousa.org/registration/

The Association’s general purposes are to carry out charitable and educational activities; work for civil and social improvements.

No. AGO USA currently accepts registrations from US residents only.

There are currently three classes of membership: Active, Associate, and Honorary. a. Active membership shall be open to any person of Ghanaian origin residing in the United States of America. b. Associate membership shall be open to other persons of non Ghanaian origin in the United States who endorse the core mission, aims and objectives of AGO USA. Associate membership is conferred by the Board of Directors. c. Honorary Membership shall be open to any group or institution endorsing the aims and objectives of AGO USA. The Honorary membership could lead to partnership.

Yes. All active members pay monthly dues per the association’s bylaws. This enables the association to carry out its activities.
